Hiking, trekking, camping, rock-climbing, rappelling, zip-lining, surfing, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, hang-gliding, snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, horseback riding, sailing, swimming, dancing, practicing yoga… EXPLORING… and more… even zorbing!
Each and every journey we offer is slated to be exciting – fun, inspirational, uplifting, and an enlightening experience, and also very unusual – in more remote places, with deeper connections with the local community, and with a wider variety of activities.
Our adventure is not limited to simply the physical realm – it extends far beyond into the opportunities we share with the local community, and our “hands-on” approach to becoming involved and learning as many aspects of their local culture as feasible for our time spent there. We take into great consideration which experiences will facilitate an especially deep connection with our given environment and moment. In turn, your personal worldliness has the potential to become even more profound, as you step out of your daily routine and into one of these many encounters.

With more than 12 years of international travel experience, an expansive network of world travelers and global community members, and the passion to explore the globe more and more each day, we are ready for you to join us for your Soul Adventure!
Our Founder
Kate LaCroix has been traveling internationally since 1996. Beginning her journey in Europe, she went on to explore tastes of Central America, Canada and Mexico. Thereafter, her travel desires gravitated into the Southern Hemisphere. In January 2006 she left corporate America to embark on a life-long dream to travel around the world. This journey has since taken her on adventures through Southern Africa, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and all over most of South America – with a special focus on Brazil… and during this multi-year process Global Soul Adventures has evolved.
Kate’s previous work experience includes a variety of career paths: organizing and leading group events, teaching sports professionally, managing sponsorships, business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales, marketing and consulting in various fields… all of which have reached a breathtaking summit – Global Soul Adventures.

Global Soul Adventures has chosen to take advantage of our e-World and do our part to save our beautiful planet:
- We chose not to have office locations, thereby solely using the Internet and telephone connections via the globe to serve you - avoiding the use of space and energy (e.g., light, heat, air-conditioning, machines, etc…) to serve you
- We work with recycled paper and soy-ink (e.g., business cards and brochures) whenever possible to save our beautiful forests and create more breathing room (literally!) for everyone
- We provide our latest news, offers and communications for you via our online GSA Circular
- We trade fairly with all vendors to ensure that the communities we visit receive fair payment for their services and to ensure that our travelers pay a reasonable & fair market price for their adventures
- We tread lightly – following common backcountry and environmental etiquette and working within all park regulations – ensuring that we “leave no trace” and respect the environment
- The majority of our trips will have a group size between 6-12 people. On the occasion we have more Soul Adventurers with us, we will divide the group during activities which may have an adverse affect on the environment, providing a healthy experience for all involved.
