Global Soul Adventures is committed to giving back to the specific areas in which we travel.  Therefore with each corresponding trip a portion of the proceeds will go directly back into the community to assist with local projects and/or to benefit and support an enhancing organization. We additionally strive to be physically involved (helping "hands-on") with pertinent projects in these areas during our time there.

	In the heart of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil exists one of the most incredible communities in the world - the largest favela in Latin America, known as Rocinha ("ho-seen-yah".) With the passion to bring transport and handicap access to the disabled and other community members encountering medical challenges, Andre Batista has spearheaded a project more grand than the favela itself - and they could use your assistance with therapy, construction, prescription deliveries, and more....
	The small, quaint beach village of Montezuma, Costa Rica has a thriving community of individuals dedicated to bringing eco-friendly services, goods and collaborations to their unique environment, visitors and locals... Kerri Bowers and Cesar Benavides are two of the main individuals in the community facilitating these positive changes as they offer eco-adventures coupled with nature tours, cultural exchanges, and a special connection with the local schoolchildren and surrounding community. They offer opportunities for volunteers to teach English or extracurricular courses, help with current environmental projects, perform maintenance jobs at the local school, and they remain open to your ideas for helping too...
